On July 18, China Energy Construction released the announcement of the successful candidates for the centralized procurement of Lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system in 2023. The total amount of this bidding is 3.5GWh, and the projects are mainly distributed throughout the country. Divided into 3 sections, including 1C (1-hour system), 0.5C (2-hour system), and 0.25C (4-hour system). Potential bidders can bid for a certain or all bid sections, and win both bids.

The total bidding amount for 1C (1-hour system) is 300MWh, with 9 companies shortlisted; The average winning price is 1.305 yuan/Wh;

The total bidding amount for 0.5C (2-hour system) is 1200MWh, with a total of 18 companies shortlisted; The average winning price is 1.056 yuan/Wh;

The total bidding amount for 0.25C (4-hour system) is 2000MWh, with a total of 18 companies shortlisted; The average winning price is 0.987 yuan/Wh;

CRRC Zhuzhou Research Institute, XJ Electric, CATL, Tiancheng Tongchuang, Zhongneng Energy Storage Technology and Sungrow Power were shortlisted for three sections at the same time.

It is reported that the tenderee of this centralized procurement does not promise the minimum procurement quantity, and will determine the successful supplier of China Energy Construction's centralized procurement of Lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system in 2023. The joint-stock company will sign a framework agreement with the successful supplier, which is valid for one year. Except for special circumstances, the enterprises affiliated to the joint-stock company will purchase Lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system within the validity period of the framework agreement, and will select the best suppliers and sign the purchase contract according to the specific needs of the project and the bidding results, without further separate bidding.
