Recently, Haichen Energy Storage announced that it has signed a 2GWh energy storage system supply agreement with Solarpro, a leading European solar and energy storage EPC.

According to the agreement, Haichen Energy Storage will provide advanced long-duration energy storage solutions for utility-scale energy storage projects in multiple countries and regions in Eastern Europe.

In recent years, Eastern Europe has accelerated its energy transition, with renewable energy sources like wind power and photovoltaics increasing their share of the power system. Long-duration energy storage solutions can absorb excess electricity during peak renewable energy generation periods and release power during periods of low renewable energy generation, effectively mitigating the volatility and intermittency of renewable energy generation. This is an effective way to ensure grid security and stability and promote the integration of renewable energy. 

Under the agreement, Haichen Energy Storage will provide advanced customized energy storage solutions, primarily utilizing the ∞Power 6.25MWh battery energy storage system equipped with the ∞Cell 1175Ah, a 4h-dedicated system, and the new generation of large-capacity 587Ah batteries. 

Haichen Energy Storage's ∞Power 6.25MWh long-duration energy storage system is designed specifically for long-term energy storage needs. This collaboration, leveraging Haichen Energy Storage's ∞Power 6.25MWh 4-hour long-duration energy storage system and Solarpro's integration capabilities, will provide crucial support for enhancing grid resilience and flexibility and accelerating energy transition in Eastern Europe.

According to third-party data, in the first half of 2025, Haichen Energy Storage ranked among the top 2 in global energy storage battery shipments and global power storage shipments.
